Invention of Odon could save many babies in countries in development

 The world has about 137 million births per year, of which 10  

percent with severe complications.  

More than five million babies and nearly 260,000 women die in  

childbirth.

Jorge Odon, 59-year-old mechanic from Argentina, invented a device that could mark the history of 

medicine.
