Various studies show that people who spend more time online are more likely to suffer from depression.
Psychologists university in the English city of Leeds have studied how a group of 1319 people aged 16-51 use the Internet, and the results are compared to the symptoms of depression.
They found that 1.2 percent of survey participants, mostly young, are depending on the internet and that these users have more severe signs of depression.
