Acoustic levitation, the method of using sound waves to move small particles, is one of the most
interesting phenomena in science. A video of one such experiment shows how this works.
Japanese scientists Joi Ochiai, Jun Rekimoto Takajuki Hoshi and made a video of their latest series
of experiment with acoustic levitation, showing the power of sound and noise.
The video briefly and simply presents the work of a team of scientists, before starting their
experiments on this subject, using small objects such as nails, screws, wood pieces and liquid
droplets.
